let me start out by saying these two shows in PRS/BER we’re so sick & everything I could’ve hoped for. secondly I have to tell this beautiful story (that occurred in the weeks leading up to the Berlin show). Girl A reaches out to me saying she’s formed a special bond with her partner Girl B during lockdown to @cubsport & my song “Mine”, she wants to propose at the concert. that’s cool, I’m stoked and I make a little instrumental version where she has a part of the song with no drums and it’s filtered and pretty and she can do the deed with the lights down low. all is well. THE NEXT WEEK, Girl B reaches out with virtually the exact same message. initially I thought it was a hoax of some sort so played along just saying the same things I said to Girl A. eventually I realise it’s legit and they both had the exact same idea and they’re going to propose to each other at the exact same time (I told them both 9:18pm on Saturday night). the rest of the story plays out as expected, neither of them find out, they both kneel down out in the dance floor at 9:18pm on Saturday night and freak when they realise they both had the same idea. hilarity & euphoria ensue. all is well in the world for the next 60 minutes. hooray for love & thank u @cubsport & @chiiild for helping moments like these come to fruition 💕 love u all & see u in LONDON tomorrow night 🕺🏻
