I rarely hop on trends but this one bangs... When it comes to reflecting on your journey, it’s not always just about remembering where you came from, but remembering the state that your mind was in at the time. Right now, I’m constantly fixated on pushing forward and beating myself up for not being at the place I want to be at but the reality is at one point, this period I take for granted was IMPOSSIBLE. NON-EXISTENT. UNFATHOMABLE. We are so driven by the end accomplishment that we fail to recognise and appreciate LIVING IN THE MIDDLE. The point further than where you started, but not quite at the finished goal yet. It’s coming up on nearly a year since leaving my job working in retail and I never would have imagined the journey of chasing the ideas in my heart would lead to this place... I’ve launched a company focused on telling great stories, created workshops for the next generation of storytellers, been funded to create my own projects and met a crazy amount of dope people along the way. But most importantly, I’ve been able to focus on creating and taking leaps of faith towards building my life around the dreams I dreamt. The story isn’t over yet. There will be more struggles, and more successes before the end. But that’s the beauty of Living in Act 2 of the story... there’s so much yet to come. Stay blessed family 🤎
