To every volunteer who joined #TeamAbrams this weekend to get out the vote, know that I am grateful for your work and I’m honored to be in this fight with you and for you. When I think about our campaign and what it means to the people of Georgia, I think about the diversity, the resiliency and the character that every single one of you has brought to our team. You are leaders, caretakers, dreamers and believers. You have faith that more is possible and you carry that belief with you to every door you knock, every text you send and every phone call you make. Whether it was your first time volunteering, or your 4th year getting involved, your boundless energy and unyielding joy inspire me everyday. I know Georgians are inspired because of you, too. I’ve heard stories about how you go the extra mile to make sure folks know about their right to vote, about how my plan for Georgia will change and lift up lives. And when you encounter someone who’s on the verge of losing hope because of unfulfilled promises and distrust of the past, you become their reason to have hope and to vote again.
