šŸ‘¼šŸ¼The most angelic Vivienne Westwood little girl’s outfit with mini swarm of the cupids corset top and tutu! ~This exhibit was at ā€˜The World According to It’s Creators’ (Le Monde Selon ses Createurs) exhibition at the Musée de la mode de la Ville de Paris, Vivienne seen here attended on the 6th June 1991. I love the Fragonard evening dress (centre) also called the sun-wheel gown. Fun fact ~ Andreas Kronthaler, Vivienne's husband designed the sun-wheel gown. The two met when Vivienne went to Vienna to teach at the university of applied arts, Kronthaler was in his first year and he went on to create a series of dresses inspired by the Renaissance. Circular and over-length, the dresses could be worn in infinite ways by incorporating a belt. Westwood recognised a talent and invited Kronthaler to London to develop this system. In 1989, Kronthaler came to London where he worked with Westwood on her collection and also took the opportunity to expand on the design of these dresses. Entitled ā€œsun-wheel dressesā€.
