Interpretation Systems, 2024 Acrylic on linen, 24x30” each Perceiving is a process of interpreting sensory data ~ yet we have the capacity to perceive energy directly ~ without processing it through an interpretation system. In these paintings I’m exploring a sense of luminosity, of energy fields held together by invisible binding forces, of the physical body and the energy body.
