Water layers... I kind of got this shot by accident. I had a telephoto lens on my camera and didn’t want to bring my whole bag so I said screw it and just went with this lens- in the back of my mind I could hear my buddy Terry @lifted_spirit_photos coaching me “if it’s worth taking the shot, it’s worth using the right lens”... which I knew was right, but I carried on anyway 🤣🤣 this is the lower falls in Yellowstone which is a 308 foot waterfall. The energy you see and feel from this is amazing. After the water converges and begins to fall, you can see where the water starts to separate and forms droplets and mist until it violently crashes down on the river below and kicks up more mist from the explosion. The shadows are from the massive mountain covering the river and part of the falls just after sunrise. I’ve honestly just been loving what I’m shooting because I’m so much more in tune with nature and these beautiful moments than I have ever been, and it’s a true joy and honor to be able to share them with you and the world around me 📸💧 . . . . . . . . . #jeremyjanusphotography #nps #nationalpark #nationalparks #nationalparksservice #yellowstone #yellowstonenationalpark #wyoming #waterfallwednesday #waterfall #river #water #sunrise #naturephotography #dawn #vanlife #water #downtheriver #wwtty #nationalparkgeek #wilderness #adventure #thatswyoming #artist #morning #livebravely #nikonnofilter #americanwest #kuhl #optoutside
