Sometimes people ask me how I come up with ideas for our shoots at Vogue Arabia. Many times I just get inspired by things I see on social media. It was the case with this story we published on the latest issue of @voguearabia with my sis @rawdis. When I saw the gorgeous black East African henna Rawda had on her hands I messaged her on the spot, asking if she could apply it herself so we could photograph it. As simple as that. Many years ago I had a boss - Manuel Dias Coelho - who always told me to remain curious, that’s the most important part of our job as editors.
