It brings me to tears to think today has arrived. My BROADWAY DEBUT. I have a confession to make. I stole money from my mothers purse and put it back. I stole it to go see a my first ever play. The Glass Menagerie in Sydney. This play and production changed my life. The lady at the box office could tell I was nervous. I told her I stole the money and she gave me one of her staff tickets, if I promised to put it back. I’m sorry mother. I love you! If you had told that kid that he would one day travel the world and have a career as an actor and that one day he would be making his Broadway debut. I would have said “one day I hope for that” Today I find myself acting in a great play based on a phenomenal book. I have had the pleasure of working with a talented group diverse actors playing 4 roles and also cover for ‘Amir’. Working on the language and text of Amir I would akin to a Middle Eastern Tom from The Glass Menagerie. FULL CIRCLE ⭕️ Ps: the day before I was cast in this play I had a sign from I believe my late father who died of cancer. I walked past a store, in Paris, that was selling runners and displaying them with kites.
