Sebastian Moreno (@urbanbirdeco), an environmental conservation Ph.D. candidate—studying at the intersection of ornithology, urban ecology, and social sciences—and @LatinoOutdoors volunteer, calls for more inclusive community science. “Not everyone has the same accessibilities to science,” says Sebastian. “So we need to tailor citizen science programs to meet the needs of the community [they’re] trying to serve.
