The best year of my life to date. Thirty taught me financial freedom, loving myself through singleness, fighting hard for my business, being brave enough to book the flights and spend time in the city that makes me feel alive and reminded me how deeply loved and seen I am. More so than anything, I felt immense joy, warmth and inspiration around me this year. If there is one thing I want you to take away from knowing me, it’s the there is so much love and beauty out there. Please please go out and find it. It’s in the quiet mornings with my book, it’s in the evening with my journal, it’s in the smile of a stranger, it’s in the laughter that fills the street, the smell of my morning coffee, a smiley face in the slack message to a coworker and it’s even if the little glitter specks you find floating around (probably thanks to me). Whoever said thirties were the best decade, I think they are onto something. I welcome in this new age with a really clear perspective of my priorities, intentions and values. I know who I am and I hope you consistently work to know these things about yourself too. Here’s to learning everyday, being a bit more kind to ourselves and others, not being afraid to say how you feel, reading more books, looking up more than down and building your dream on the daily instead of thinking it’s unlivable. Thank you to each of you for loving me so well and allowing me the freedom to be truly everything I am wrapped in a bright bold pink dress. My birthday wish isn’t for the day, it’s for all my days and it’s to live with an open heart, a lot of love and genuine connection with those around me. 31. Let’s do this. 💗✨
