This evening we drove back through the canyons from Malibu. It was a swimsuit on the bottom, hoodie on the top kind of beach sunset, and on the way home I looked back over my shoulder and watched our daughter softly snoring in her carseat. What do 3-week-olds dream about? Today was a big day. Leo turned 31. A living breathing goddess at the height of her power. She gives life and then she sustains it. She dreams and then makes it real. That I get to spend my life looking at her and hearing her thoughts is the greatest joy I've ever known. Thank you for being an incredible person, Leo. Thank you for an incredible year.
