After fighting Africa's longest liberation war, Eritrea finally gained independence in 1991. Today the country is in a deep crisis. Join us on the 30th anniversary of independence as we reflect on the human rights movement, and discuss what is needed to move forward toward Eritrean liberation. Eritrean artists will conclude the event by showcasing how they celebrate and commemorate our culture as they also advocate for Eritrean human rights in the diaspora.
