Sad news yesterday. This one's hard to put into words. This photo, 1/2 of our wedding party, was the last time we hung out. I remember Judi and I leaving their house the next day, and I was thinking "was this the last time I would see him?" As we get older, you prepare yourself for the "phone-call, FB post, whatever... and it still hits you harder than you ever thought. I learned so much from Tom about drumming... but more importantly... I learned it's not always about drumming, but the... hang, telling stories, the comradery, just being good friends. This is indeed sad times, but I remember Float, and his colorful language, telling me when he goes... there better be a party ! ! (not exactly the words he used :-) There are TOO MANY stories that are filling my thoughts... so, maybe another day.
