Filler needs to be injected by a trained medical provider that understands tissue, anatomy, muscle, and ligaments. All of these things come into play when trying to produce safe, but also beautiful results. There is a lot controversy over the hyaluron pen. In my opinion I feel they are unpredictable which leads to unsafe injections. When treated with these pens, the filler is injected without knowing the absolute certainty of the depth or direction of the filler which can lead to what we fear the most...a vascular occlusion!! I’ve seen a couple of clients come in after being injected with the hyaluron pen and needing to be dissolved due to huge lumps and and lack of structure. I have also seen other providers having to dissolve unfortunately due to a VO which is deemed a medical emergency as stated earlier! (VO is a vascular occlusion which means filler was injected into a vein/artery blocking blood flow which can lead to tissue death aka necrosis) I prefer a slow, steady injection and also having control over the amount of product being pushed out and at the appropriate depth. Again, SAFE injections are an absolute priority in my book. And of course you can get a VO with a medical professional too, but the difference is your provider will know EXACTLY what to do and have plenty of hylenex (dissolver) to resolve a VO. #lipfiller #filler #beautytips #beautybloggers #botox #medspalife #atx #atxnurseinjector #austin #nurse #dysportinjection #injectors #injector
