✨Last night, we had a wonderful evening hosting ASH BISHOP (@ashlbishop) to for an in store and virtual event to celebrate INTERGALACTIC EXTERMINATORS, INC! Ash started the evening by sharing how much Writer's Coffee House, hosted by Jonathan Mayberry that takes place in Mysterious Galaxy, helped him grow as a writer when creating his debut novel, INTERGALACTIC EXTERMINATORS, INC. Ash wrote 5 drafts of INTERGALACTIC EXTERMINATORS, INC before an agent accepted the manuscript, after completing four prior novels that wen unsold. Ash said his imagination is inherently weird, and after failed attempts at writing mystery and mainstream stories, decided to embrace his inner weirdness with a wild SF story about a man who accidentally unleashes a cosmic predator after triggering a stone that acts as “intergalactic catnip,” and joins an oddball group of monster hunters. With all the grim things happening in the world right now, it was important to Ash to write a book that was fun, so he included all sorts of absurd, quirky aliens, and put a lot of comedy into the story.
