Ganpati Bappa Morya 🙏🏼✨ !!️Storytime!!️ When I was little, we lived in a complex where celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi was considered has the most auspicious and favourite festival! Every day, after the Ganesh Aarti, we had different activities and competitions for everyone to participate in. I would participate in every competition 😅 and bag prizes for singing, drawing, dance, all the time 😅 the prizes were always in cash 💰my best way to make my pocket money was the festival 😅 I hated the competition bit, but still took part by getting out of my comfort zone 😅 After a point, the aunties in the complex asked me to teach their kids how to dance 🤭 I said okay, and taught the kids at ₹150/- per month 😜 i think i taught 11 kids in total, and i was their “dance didi” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The Ganpati festival always reminds me of the togetherness of people, and since it’s so big in Mumbai especially - where I grew up - the festival excites me for a lot of things! The modaks, the puranpolis 🥹, the constant bhajans throughout the day, the dhols during Visarjan...i love it!!!!
