Birthday post, yes, but the real mind-blowing celebration is that it’s been 20 years since I moved to New York! Two decades ago, I arrived with no job and a suitcase, which I stuck in an empty room and then immediately met up with @lisrubin who took me out to Pastis for my birthday. Technically, Pastis isn’t in the same location and neither am I (my move much further) but, whatever, we’re still around. :) Spent the rest of the night at a couple of other favorite spots with NYC friends I’ve known almost as long. ✨🎉❤️ @mediamavenmom @kestapper @updatenate
