Impossible to convey what we’ve seen, mostly the faces, the glimpses into lives, the kindness of the audiences, the generous man working at the hotel, the amused woman at the bio grocery directing us to medicinal teas. This and the landscapes, waking up to snow each morning of late, after bucolic sunshine and pasture in Switzerland. Oh Switzerland, Bern, to be in a house full of queers dancing and feel at home. And Amsterdam on my birthday, and Paris the day after, among dear friends who reset my heart. And to be cared for each day by my tour companion, Jesse, with a tender steady hand.
