I entered a worldwide scoring competition...and came 3rd! It was for the #FullContactCompetition hosted by @orchestraltools and @tomholkenborg . Winners were announced 3 weeks ago, but hey, I've been busy ;) . For those of you who don't know, Orchestral Tools is a premium sample library company that creates incredible, inspiring virtual instruments for composers. Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) is a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum composer, producer, musician and educator. He also happens to have scored music for huge Hollywood films like Justice League, Mad Max: Fury Road, Godzilla vs Kong, Alita: Battle Angel, Batman vs Superman, Deadpool, Tomb Raider (the list goes on!). . So to have Hendrik Schwarzer (OT Founder and MD) and Tom Holkenborg pick my composition for 3rd place is such an honour! Plus I also won Tom's OT Brass and Percussion libraries. Thanku. .
