History needs to be re-written. In 1492 Christopher Columbus, a pirata was adrift, sick, lost at sea, destitute, dressed in rags, filthy & nearly dead when washed upon our splendid Western Hemisphere shores. As a mercenary, together with Spain, Columbus collaborated with Rome & the Vatican, who in turn began to issue Papal Bulls’ (paper w/official seal/stamp!) or better known today as “The Doctrine of Discovery.” (The document is still very much alive today as quoted in USA Supreme Court decision Macintosh v Oneida-2005). Columbus unleashed plunder & pillaged Indigenous nations across the Americas! More European countries joined in and sought advantages to the greed for more land and resources. From indian point of view, the First World War wasn’t in 1916-7 but rather in 1492. The never ending Indian wars began when the entire European theater converged upon the Americas in search of spoils of war! The European settler greed was so violent among themselves the Pope in Rome had to step in and mediate & facilitate the theft of the Americas by demarcation of territories ie Spain this, Dutch & Britain take that, Brazil for Portugal, etc. you get the picture! The Vatican was complicit! (The Church just wanted the souls’ of these pagans) The ‘Doctrine of Discovery’ (Unmasking the Domination Code-movie by Steven Newcomb-Sheldon P Wolfchild) is the ‘Pink Slip’ of land & country ownership today to justify the theft of the Americas! The prevailing thought was Indios are too primitive to own land! In their search for a shorter trade route to spices & gold Columbus was searching for ‘India’..(which dint exist at that time-yet his story has a way of distorting truth to make it fit...only for so long though-it was called Hindustan). Instead what Columbus found in Hispaniola he wrote..these people’ pray in the mornings, prayed during the day and constantly pray at ceremonies...and ‘esta gente estan En Dios! ‘These people are in-with God! We are Indios! Our Elders say the name will now set us free! Hence, the American Indian Movement (AIM) unofficially was born when the First Taino was Murdered in 1492!
