“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 8 months ago, I started at the University of Texas. I didn’t know much about why I was here. Frankly, I was lonely, scared, overwhelmed, and confused. But from the beginning there was one thing I knew for sure - the Lord was putting it on my heart to start a new ministry on this campus. One that unites Christians on campus and exists for the nonbeliever. The Lord put the most incredible group of people in my life to make this a reality. His hand has been over this ministry from the beginning in some of the most incredible ways. And though at times it was challenging and involved late nights and long meetings, there really is no group of people I would rather have gone through this journey with. On Wednesday, we got to see some of the fruits of our labor at our kickoff event, but this is just the beginning! I cannot wait to see what the next 3 years has in store for Revive Texas, and I cannot wait to keep doing it with these incredible people. The Lord is doing a new thing! And HE is making a way, the way that only He could make. Now, I have no question as to why I am here: to continue to see God work on this campus and change lives.
