If you’re in London, you’re very, very lucky (putting aside the catastrophe of the Tory government)... Two events for Call and Response by Christian Marclay and Steve Beresford next week! And @ceciliavicuna has just installed “Brain Quipu” at the @tate Turbine Hall! On Tuesday, 10/24, 8 pm at the @iklectikartlab — Steve Beresford and Xenia Pestova Bennett perform excerpts from Call and Response, arranged for two pianos, toy objects and electronics. On Saturday, 10/29, 1-4 pm at the (not-to-be-missed) @smallpublishers there will be a celebration of the book arranged by (the wondrous, fabulous) @bookartbookshop with fizz and a signing by Steve. I was lucky to be in London for the event at the Vortex Jazz Club in June. I really, really, really wish I could be in London next week! At least Cecilia’s work will be up until April 16, 2023.
