A week from today! June 10 @ Lincoln Center! It is an unbelievable honor and joy to premiere my orchestral tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. To me, Christopher Wallace is a transcendent, iconic, unparalleled, genius, heroic, charismatic, artist, storyteller, that inspired millions of people even before age 25. Since his death at age 24 in 1997, his ability to uplift has only gained momentum. Some aspects of his story are heartbreaking to me, but by far overall simply inspiring, and I have given it my all to write a tribute that might have a chance of touching some of the hearts and minds in attendance.
