3 YEARS! 😱 The Blonde Artisan is about to turn 3 and I'm wondering how the heck that time went by so quickly! I'm giggling as I'm thinking about what my 16 year old apprentice self envisioned for her own salon space one day and I'm going to share it with you (I may or may not regret this later - PLEASE DON'T JUDGE ME 😂). All I will say before I go any further is THANK GOODNESS I grew up but let me set the scene for you... You walk through the salon doors and the first thing you notice is how loud the music is. The sound of 2000's EDM fills your ears. It's David Guetta's, Titanium. As you hum along to the lyrics you think to yourself, "what a banger". You resist the urge to start shuffling. You're greeted by your stylist and directed to your seat. Your stylist is dressed in such a way that you wonder what nightclub they'll be visiting at the end of their work day. You can't make out what they're saying over the music as you look around, taking in the salon aesthetic. Each wall is painted a different shade of something bright and playful and there's a light in the far corner of the salon illuminating colourful flashes of red and blue over the basin area. Is this the reason that every stylist has a different bright colour in their hair? How fun and inspiring! "I love what this hot pink cape does for my complexion!", you think to yourself as you sip on your tequila sunrise. You daydream about what your friends are going to say about your new look as your stylist starts applying your colour...
