Not just as a sport to play but as something that gave me a huge amount of my confidence and social skills. It taught me what my body could do and to feel content in it and it’s abilities. Every person deserves to get what i’ve gotten from the game. The rapid expansion and recognition of the women’s game over the past few years is absolutely mind blowing and I couldn’t be more GASSED. 87,000 people is an insane number and so bloody well deserved. I can’t properly express how happy this tournament and every game I go to makes me. @babecityfc is the source of my joy most weeks and I am beyond grateful to @maamw for setting it up.
