@orillanegraperu ⚠️ In January this year @Repsol spilled 11,000 barrels of oil into the Pacific Ocean in Peru. This is the worse ecological disaster around Lima in recent memory affecting two protected biodiversity areas in Peru: the Ancón Reserved Zone and the Pescadores Islets. In the past 9 months, Repsol hasn’t taken accountability, the ocean is still toxic and hundreds of people are unable to work. However, Repsol has managed to keep this out of the news 🤯. Even if you think this doesn’t affect you it does...you might live in the other corner of the world but sooner or later this can happen to your country, city, beach town.
