With a 6 year engagement since the Bachelorette, 3 years since Jordan proposed again (privately), and few pandemic postponements spanning over a couple of years, I knew their engagement photos had to be epic and feel completely fresh! I pitched the concept of painting the story of their “road to the alter,” with the long journey to get there and all the unexpected curveballs included. So imagine the shoot playing out as a mini roadtrip in a classic 1970 Chevy Impala with a few bumps in the along the way. Driving up the coast, staying at old run down motels, having car troubles and being stranded roadside, maybe even *faux* hitch hiking, finally getting to the chapel and then riding off into the sunset in wedded bliss. Through this full adventure in real life JoJo + Jordan have been the most down-to-earth, kind, thoughtful, patient and FUN couple trusting the process and their timing. This playful shoot was meant to represent that the bumps in the road make for the greatest adventures when you have the right perspective!
