Away From Me w/ @blakewisner OUT NOW — 🔗 in bio — so Blake and i put a lot into this one. from the songwriting to the detailed production, this is a very dense song but one that means a lot to me when i first heard Blake’s vocal demo i knew we had something special. although the original version had a different meaning (more on this soon !), he captured emotions i was struggling to convey myself. i feel like we’re tapping into something that isn’t often talked about in EDM songs - the debilitating feeling of being unlovable. with the production, i tried to support what Blake expresses in his lyrics - from glitchy distorted layers, to auto tuned and pitched call and responses, it all serves a purpose and is intended to deepen the impact of each lyric and melody this song feels like the culmination of a lot of different styles and techniques i’ve been experimenting with these last few months and i think is a perfect way to kick off the next few months of releases i have planned for u 💛 々 📸 @ramonsview
