People are always asking me what I did to heal my body post cancer treatment. Chemotherapy, surgery + radiation is incredibly hard on your body and you have to make yourself sick in order to get better which feels so counterintuitive. And after you are declared “cancer free” you’re left to pick up the pieces from the destruction the medicine that saved your life left you with. 😔 I’m still working on my healing 2 years from finishing it all but these are some things I live by day to day including two main things I have found helped the most including infrared sauna to heal my achey joints. I love @_pause.studio_ for my infrared sessions. I’m too much of a baby to cold plunge but I love all their services and find them so helpful. I also couldn’t have got through treatment and healed my neuropathy mostly without acupuncture. It has been an incredibly powerful tool for me. @seyhart_wellness has been great and I highly recommend them to everyone. 🤍🙏 As a private chef, I educated myself on diet and nutrition the most so leading an anti inflammatory diet, including lots of nutrient dense, anti-oxidant rich foods, organic produce, white meats & wild fish mixed with plant based dishes. And I cut out refined sugars and processed foods. I offer nutrition coaching session to other people going through treatment if you are interested. And have many healthy clean recipes on my website.👩🏼‍🍳 It’s also important to remember the 80/20 rule. Dont be too strict on yourself and stress about it too much.
