Like most things in life, this began as a random idea I had. I wanted to make Alan Watts flags. The marbling part just felt like a fun addition so I threw that in there. Did I know how to screen print? No! My first iteration was an iron on, which looked terrible. A friend suggested I try making a screen print so I got a kit from Amazon and failed miserably. Upon troubleshooting with a screen print store, I soon realized I could just pay them to make the screen! However, I had no clue how I would actually execute this task, as I was given basic instruction and was just going to wing it. My friend @jonnyalexander asked if he could crash at mine this weekend, as he was visiting from out of town and of course I said yes. Today upon waking up and noticing the screen on my table, he casually mentioned he used to screen print for a living and would help me! Totally unplanned. A quick trip to Home Depot later, and here we are. Knee deep in Alan Watts! I love when things just flow this perfectly.
