Guess who shot his first Pre-Wedding? Me! 😅 I’ve always said I’d never photograph weddings. It was never really my thing. Why? Well - I’m a bit shy, I like controlled environments, building my sets and being very intentional with my process. I’ve always felt weddings barely afforded you that luxury. But my Ghanaian friend and longtime collaborator @mimmy.yeboah told me years ago and never stopped reminding me that I’d shoot her wedding. I’d always laugh and say we’d see when the time comes. Well... the time came. A couple of weeks ago, she reached out and told me to pack my bags. We went to Ghana, found the most amazing location and created some truly beautiful memories . Of course, I had wifey @adesolamomoh assisting with the mushy mushy poses cause “posing lovers” is clearly not my forte 😂😂 Thank you @kamara_global_studio_ for the on ground support, even though I reached out without prior notice. Big love to my bro @nueshot for the support. And what did I learn? Wedding photography isn’t really that different from portraits after all. Same connection, same direction, same intention... just a looootttttt more love in the atmosphere. Are we taking wedding bookings now? . Hmmmh - maybe 😅 Grateful for trust, friendship, exploring new waters and stepping outside my comfort zone.
