Climate justice = social justice Last year I connected with @BBCnews’s @yaldahakim directly from @COP26uk in Glasgow. This year, I’m not attending #COP27 but my message to world leaders remains the same - as long as activists and prominent voices like @vanessanakate1 @greengirlleah and @malala are kept in fringe conversations at events like #COP, rather than given their righteous seat at the tables where the decisions impacting all of us will be made, we will continue to fail to address the compounding crisis around us. I urge the world leaders to deliver on promises made in the past before making new ones and implore them to start treating the climate crisis as a humanitarian crisis.
