I’m thankful to have had time with Kalani before he left us. For two weeks we trained, surfed, fished, and hung out everyday. Kalani set goals and had a clear mind about what he wanted to do in life. He seemed to be in a really good place and on his way to do great things. It fucking sucks writing this. I love you, Kalani. The strongest person I know with incredible resilience. You had been through unimaginable things throughout your life, but you bounced back every time. You were the most caring friend with the biggest heart. You touched and impacted the lives of so many people around the world. I don’t think you realized how loved you are. This winter is dedicated to you my boy.
