An absolute dream to join the world of JULIA on HBO max as John Updike. The period. The cast. Sara Lancashire, David Hyde Pierce, Bebe Neuwirth, Judith Light, Fiona Glascott, Brittany Bradford, and a special reunion with my ol’ pal Jefferson Mays. At our director Erica Dunton and creator Daniel Goldfarb’s request we even wrapped our scene with a song from Gent’s Guide for the crew (5 years after saying goodbye on closing night- we had to look up lyrics on our phones:) What a dream to be on @HBO in a joyful show cast by Sharon Bialy, who I rode the F train with once and told me to come straight to her office if I was ever in LA.
