I sometimes forget my own value. Most importantly, I’ve forgotten the value of my time here on Earth. 🌎 To be honest, I feel even slightly embarrassed about how many hours I’ve spent on things, situations or people that are just not worth it. Being in bed for hours thinking of what I shouldn’t have said, what I should have done or how I could be enough for someone who never even truly loved me. It’s ridiculous how many years I spent pleasing others and truly believing that my time is not valuable and I am not worthy. If you are at this moment right there, where you don’t believe you’re enough the way you are and you’re worthy of being loved, respected and valued, please read the next words carefully. 👇🏽 Other people and cruel situations that have happened to us do not define us. Your priority in life should be unlearning bullshi* and this distorted view of yourself, this is the best gift you can give yourself. I know it’s very hard, I’ve been there. But it’s possible and accessible for anyone who’s willing to try. ➡️ Remove yourself from the situations that make you feel like your power has been taken away. Cut ties with everything that affects badly your mental health. ➡️ Create more of the situations that make you feel good about life. Add into your daily activities that make you wanna live, whether it’s dancing or baking or reading or travelling. ➡️ Practice being still. Meditation really has done wonders for me and if you haven’t tried it yet, I really do recommend it. Just a reminder that life is way too short to live it according to everyone around us.
