For film buffs and social media savvy... this is so fun I did it yesterday after seeing the movie ❤️I had an incredibly limited time to shoot the New York portion of the musical number 13 (child labor laws!) for 13 the musical. Knowing that moving a crew in nyc would take too much time I found all my locations within one block! Take the tour😍Start on 58th street and 6 th avenue 1. Is where Evan starts walking down 6th ave. 2 we crossed 6th ave (ps no lock ups - we waited for the signal and said action) 3. Are the steps at 21 W 58th 4. Is the Pulitzer Plaza with the Apple Store in the background 5. Is the entrance to the Plaza hotel (they let us shut down the entrance for 1 hour) 5 yikes I wrote 5 x2 but that is the hill they run down in the park and 6. Is where Evan leaves the NYC dancers. Half was shot in NYC and half in Toronto to look like NYC. Oh and in NYC you are not allowed to play music out load so all the dancers are wearing ear plugs. We also premiered the film at the Paris Theatre across the street from the Plaza hotel ❤️
