The artist Kyle Meyer covered almost every inch of a former carriage house in the West Village in canvas, onto which he then squeezed out paint starting at the top, letting it bleed down into different color combinations and patterns. Next, he’ll photograph this part of the process, blow up the images and weave swatches of fabric from this temporary installation into the actual picture. It’s hard to describe, but if you DM him, he’ll give you a tour of the space until next Wednesday, when the whole thing will be demolished.
