Welcome to the new faces on my feed! Freediving is a sport that’s trending worldwide, and those who’ve tried it know why... It’s the most revealing, beautiful, natural, ecological, and enjoyable way to enjoy the underwater world, which after all is 70% of our planet! 🌎 I’ve been doing it for nearly 20 years (or 40 if you count the years of snorkelling as a kid), and in that time I’ve seen the sport evolve so much, and world record depths increase by over 50%. But it’s still a young sport, with so much to discover and reveal about our aquatic capacities! 🐬 Right now our oceans are in great peril from all kinds of changes, pollutions, and overfishing, but one thing I’ve learnt is that everyone who comes into the intimate contact with the ocean that freediving offers will appreciate it and thus care for it more. So please try freediving yourself, or if you’re converted already then suggest it to a friend! 🤿
