Thank you Meghan for being such a ferocious hero to humanity. You lifted up every single person around you. I’m happy that you were told consistently by so many while you were alive how extraordinary you are and how much we all Love and appreciate you. It must have been impossible for you to fully process and integrate, but at least we told you. I so wish that it could have correlated into you still being with us. I know you tried soooooooooooo hard. I’m so thankful Meghan that you made it as far as you did, that is such a victory right there. When we went for that nature walk together last April, you looked and sounded amazing! I was convinced that you were on the path to continued healing. The concert that we were planning was going to be amazing! Thank you for the ten or so concerts that we did together. Thank you for being the first person to champion me in New York and bring me and my music there. Thank you for letting me stay at your place when I couldn’t afford a hotel. Thank you for bringing together so many different cultures in such a rad and hip way, always authentic and soulful. Thank you for empowering so many people- young and old, performer and audience member, male and female, established and unheard of. Thank you for the hours and hours we spent on the phone over the last 13 years. You made me feel like I had family in you, wasn’t alone, and was doing something worthwhile. Your pain must have been so great, and I’m so sorry for that Meghan. I can’t say that I know what happens after life, but I do know that we all Love you, appreciate you, see you, and will continue trying to honor you as sincerely as possible in our own ways. Thank you for being one of my best friends. You’re forever one of my biggest heroes 💜
