We want all First Nations women to feel culturally safe and supported in our hospital 🖤💛❤️ One step of many we are taking is offering these beautiful blankets to First Nations women before they undertake screening for signs of cervical cancer in our dysplasia clinic. Patients can also take them home. In collaboration with @vaccho_org I created this calming, engaging design which was printed on these blankets for our patients. Aunty Gina Bundle, Coordinator of our Badjurr-Bulok Wilam centre, is pictured here proudly displaying the blanket design. We encourage all eligible First Nations women, and people with a cervix, to book a time with their local GP or Victorian Aboriginal health service to discuss cervical screening, and how you can do a self-collection. #FirstNations #womenshealthmatters
