With the ending of the year often comes a widespread introspection. Although good to celebrate, most recaps are not a true reflection of the year. This year I celebrated things I didn’t think I’d be celebrating. Big “wins” started looking looking different day by day, and at the end of the year, I, along with many others, found myself in a completely different place than I’d set out to arrive. Though this year took a lot, it also brought its own joys and musings. I hope when we find ourselves in this state of reflection, we may remember that each step is a victory and that life is made up of moments instead of destinations. Here’s to 2023 💫
