Awh heck! My next solo show is going to be a doozy! I’ll be showing a body of work and releasing a new album called “American Stories & Sentiments” at @mortalmachinegallery in New Orleans. The work that I've made for this show is filled with narratives that celebrate, poke fun at, and enthusiastically document the American anti-hero. The songs reminisce on bad behavior. The paintings inflate stories of crime, violence, and romance. The short stories relay and twist tales from my past. And the painted guitars leave plenty of room for new stories to be told. While the show is going on, we’ll also be throwing a concert at @mortalmachinestudio , 1 block down. I’ll be playing songs with my buddies, @chrisacker_growthsprout @cooperkenward and @super_helpful It’s going to be a hectic night with heaps of things to look at, listen to, and consume!
