Women are water. Water is feminine energy. The ocean is one of the many earthly manifestations of our divine mother. One our our Cherokee teachings is that women are the keepers of our water. Because just as water is life giving and affirming - so are women and the feminine. ❤️ Men give life when they create as well, and when they step into their own inner feminine - it is then that they write astounding works of art, paint visions, and innovate in business and film and everywhere in between. One of the concepts that has become clear to me as I ponder and reflect on my space in the world... is that the way we pollute Mother Nature, take from the planet without giving, and interact with our ocean in careless thoughtless ways...... Mirrors how we treat women and the feminine in the world. We take from the ocean - overfishing....just like we take from women and their hours of unpaid and thankless work. It is just assumed that what is in the sea and the effort women put into nurturing and home making is OURS to take without gratitude. This is part of why I'm so passionate about ocean conservation and water preservation. Bringing balance to how we approach our sacred water, will help us bring balance to how we honor and interact with women. I believe that when we reach balance within ourselves, of our masculine and feminine energy and properties, THEN we will move in unity as people and integrate more beautifully with nature. We have lost track of aligning with all that is - from God/Creator to the planet Earth by denying our balanced masculine and feminine inner nature. I thank thankful for the platforms that @si_swimsuit @mj_day @theswimfluencenetwork and @missglobalofficial have built to help women align on common themes that impact the world. For me, there is no bigger theme than the lack of balance we all have within and how that disturbs each personal, stifles the full expression of the FEMININE in all, and the planet.
