Posted @withregram • @gilesduley Our ambulance is now operational in Ukraine! Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine we have been working with our partner organisations to support their specific needs. One such request was from Fight for Right who needed a vehicle to help with evacuations of people with disabilities and complex medical needs. So I’m pleased to say the @legacyofwarfoundation ambulance is now in Ukraine and at work with @fightforrightngo We are continuing to supply specialist wheelchairs (for children with complex needs), pressure cushions, hydrotilt chairs, assist rails and other rehabilitation equipment to our other partner organisations. We are a small organisation, but we are continuing to have an impact beyond our size in Lebanon, Rwanda and Ukraine. Why? Because we see listen to our partners, create real collaborations and we make sure the funding we receive, ends up as assets in the hands of the beneficiaries.
