After having a baby the thought of wearing swimwear filled me with dread. I’m a lot heavier now than I’ve ever been, but I didn’t want my weight gain to affect my holiday or me again like it has done previously. So instead of letting my insecurities take over, I decided to don this delightful colourful swimsuit and accept that this is my new body and my new post-baby curves. There is NO such thing as ‘beach body ready’ all you need is you, and a swimming costume and you’re ready to go. We (myself included) must remind ourselves of that. We remember our holidays for the memories and the good times, and not what we weighed or looked like.
