The Journey After a long, much-needed break, we're back! We're celebrating our return -- and the beautiful global transformation occurring now -- with a magical mural series that Ron captured for @graduatehotels. Created by Los Angeles urban artists Yanoe + Zoueh, “The Journey” spans 11,000 sq. ft. of the exterior at Graduate Hotels in Columbus, Ohio -- home to the 2nd largest Somali population in the U.S. In this elevation, a Somali immigrant dressed in a traditional guntiino offers flowers. Their muse? Hodan Mohammed, leader of local community organization @ourhelpers, whose mission is to help new Americans overcome socio-economic obstacles. Yanoe: “For us, it’s about the migrant journey... And the possibility to bloom in a city like this." May we all have the opportunity to bloom. 🙏
