Kicking off #PrideMonth with a new article I’m incredibly excited about: a feature exploring the fascinating history and evolution of gender-inclusive bathrooms for @hunkerhome. I’m a big believer in looking to the past for wisdom, and the story of how gendered public bathrooms came to be is rich with insight. Despite its ubiquity, the gendered bathroom as we know it is a relatively recent phenomenon—and one predicated on sexist Victorian ideologies, not a biological imperative or technological necessity.
