An incredibly special full circle day at the @k9sforwarriors charity golf outing. I had the opportunity to volunteer at this incredible organization when I lived in Jacksonville, Fl. and fell in love with their community, their mission and their greater purpose. It gave me a sense of purpose I’ve never felt before and it ignited my passion for how healing and beneficial the dog/human connection really is. My time with @k9sforwarriors and their rescue dogs in training is the reason @puppiesandgolf was founded. Today I was so freaking proud that Puppies & Golf was able to sponsor a hole at this event with my fellow board members by my side. None of this would be possible without them or our incredible community that we have built over the last 2 years. We are more committed than ever to not only support organizations that support our military veterans through service animals, but to continue to bring awareness/grants to shelters across the country and help those who need assistance to continue their often times life saving and enhancing relationship with their pups. A special thank you to David and his service dog, Bert, for sharing your incredibly vulnerable and inspiring story of how this program saved and changed your life forever.
