Girlies, our body adapts to the stress placed on it through repeated exposure. Performing the same lifts consistently allows your muscles to adapt and grow stronger, as they become more efficient at handling the specific movement patterns and weight lifted. A lot of the compound lifts in the program I’m following (Challenge You) felt uncomfortable and awkward for about six weeks. They’re finally feeling more natural and just goooood overall!!!! But it takes time!!!
