On September 1st, exactly 5 years ago, half a decade ago, I decided to go to the West Coast in another country to follow my dreams. Everything I can experience in these 5 years wouldn't fit in a post, so here are the 5 most important lessons I learned during that time:
Make the most of the simple moments with your family, friends with the person you are lovingly involved with. Small moments will be the most special, life is just good.
Don't be afraid to invest in your projects, believe in what makes you feel butterflies in your stomach. Even if you have to work 10x harder to achieve, the result is even more rewarding.
Create a wish list, places you want to go, places you would like to eat, this will bring you an organization and an even more desire to grow personally and professionally.
When you miss your country, culture or something you're attached to, find something to do that fills that longing, something that makes you smile again.
Never stop dreaming, no matter how hard it is, you are destined to create a unique story. Make it happen and take advantage of all the opportunities and people that will appear along the way to help you!
